A Bit About Sam …
Born in the heart of Kansas, Sam Wright was raised in Washington, D.C. where he was steeped in the great myths of America.
Returning to central KS in high school, Sam earned a degree in Theatre Arts from Emporia State University before making Kansas City his home. He then appeared on just about every stage in town, including KC Rep, Unicorn, Coterie, and New Theatre Restaurant!
His involvement in the short-lived pop music outfit The Popsicles inspired his creation of an original zombie apocalypse rock opera called The SlaughterHouse Opera, which appeared at bars and music venues around town in 2011-12.
